This image is taken from the Southport Brown Line El stop around 6:30am. The El stops around Chicago have always been a reminder of what it means to be from Chicago. There is no better feeling that waking up early on a warm Chicago summer day and seeing the sunrise from an El platform. At the same time anyone from Chicago will remember what it feels like to watch an express train blast by in January with only a train of flurries left behind.
